This is the same as the track "System Test" in the Miscellaneous collection.
The very first recording made with a trial version of the MIDI sequencer I later purchased, as part of a wider system test. Borrows heavily from Tangerine Dream. This isn't intended as a decent track, just a historical curiosity. Since the full version of the MIDI sequencer was only bought after this was made, and since the demo version couldn't save, there is no record at all of the original data - this MP3 file is all that exists.
2001 Part IV (Original Tracker) (early 1990s)
This is the same as the track in the Miscellaneous collection.
Ampcast genre: Electronic > Ambient
Ampcast plays: 352
Ampcast downloads: 321
The original 12-channel 8 bit Desktop Tracker tune recorded from an Archimedes A310 with sound filter bypassed. Has had a fair bit of noise reduction and a clean-up filter applied; no other modifications have been made.
Points And Origin's "2001" tracks are recreations of a series done using Desktop Tracker on RISC OS several years prior. This is the same as the track in the Miscellaneous collection.
Points And Origin's "Arcade", extended for use as an in-game soundtrack for a quirky graphical adventure game.
A stand-alone version of a track that is used to bridge two others in the contiuous mix of Points And Origins.
The original pre-release version of the same track from Powerline.
2001 Part I (Original Tracker) (mid 1990s)
Ampcast genre: Electronic > Ambient
Ampcast plays: 356

A true B-side, this is a strange, pluck-sound experiment that I ended up quite liking, but it didn't really fit with the rest of Powerline so was left "on the cutting room floor".
Powerline (In-Game Far Too Long And Loud Mix)
The title track of Powerline, extended as with Arcade for use as in-game music. Intentionally rather too long and with a fair bit of dynamic compression.
The original pre-release version of the same track from Powerline.
Triton Pads Demo (2002)
Ampcast genre: Electronic > Ambient
Ampcast plays: 302
Ampcast downloads: 379
This is the same as the track in the Miscellaneous collection.
A demonstration of Triton pads for the Fin mailing list. The first five are combination motion synth items; then there are a couple of program-only motion synths; once the choral sound comes in, we're into combination pads; finally there is a drum 'n' bass preset combination and a sort of 80s chase scene, just to round things off... :-)
A track that's really a mix of demonstrations of various pads from the Korg Triton Rack.
