Upbeat, bouncy electronic track. Percussion from a Triton Rack; strings from Tom 1501 analogue synth with layered patch from Supernova; everything else from a Supernova II, with lots of subsequent munging in Cubase. Original sequencing in MelIDI.
Melodic electronica. Main melody inspired by a demo track I heard some time ago; obvious Jarre influence throughout. This is the first track I've produced entirely on OS X with Logic Studio 8 and various software instruments.
Fifth Time Lucky (February 2009)
Melodic electronica. The melody is inspired by Oxygene V. Produced entirely on OS X with Logic Studio 8 and various software instruments. Exclusive preview play featured in the last Audio Coffee show before Christmas (thanks for the airplay, Abi!).
Sequencer driven electronica. An early version of this track had been around for several months with airplay in January from Mivo's Music Café on Elec Radio (thanks MiVo!). A few finishing touches needed to be made before the official release in April. Lots more software synthesis and various background effects from a set of MiniDisc-based ambient sound recordings I made several years ago.
