Announce availability of v3.0.4 of Add Folder Icons, updating its main page and adding tarballs for v3.0.0, v3.0.2 and v3.0.4.
Added "still here" notice to Home page and updated Bus Panda version information. Wildcard SSL certificate updated as the old one was due to expire; three years on this, so it needs renewing in 2020.
Add Folder Icons version 3.0.2 has been submitted to the App Store with enhanced AppleScript support and exmaple Finder toolbar droplets available to download from its web page.
Add Folder Icons version 3.0.0 has been approved and is available from the Mac App Store.
A very much overdue update to Add Folder Icons, now at version 3.0.0 and awaiting Mac App Store approval.
Bus Panda is now available from the App Store :-)
Added "what" and "why" sections to the Bus Panda page, giving some insight into why the app was written.
Updated the web site template engine internally so that it reads files with a 2014 or later year in the New Zealand timezone, rather than the UK.
Another year and a bit without an update but things continue to be busy in New Zealand and, at long last, I've finished an iOS app for Wellington bus users called Bus Panda - hopefully coming to the App Store soon!
Over a year without an update isn't great. Made a note on the Home page about emigration and updated SSL certificates. Not the most exciting update ever after such a long break...!
"I'm still here" update text on home page.
Version 1.13 of SwiftJPEG is now available.
A year of few updates... Then got a long-delayed approval for Add Folder Icons v2.1.0.
Finally added a ‘how to play’ section to the SuperChain page and shuffled some of the content around to finish it all off, rather than relying on the application help as previously.
The source code to Add Folder Icons v2.0.1 is finally available.
Long overdue overhaul of the Web design page.
Finally remembered to update the Add Folder Icons page to accurately reflect the current Mac App Store version of the application (2.0.1, submitted March 23rd, approved March 31st).
Made the contact details for Add Folder Icons even more obvious.
Added a link to my StackOverflow profile in the Home page sidebar. Made the contact details for Add Folder Icons more obvious.
Add Folder Icons has been approved for and is now available from the Mac App Store.
As a temporary measure prior to Mac App Store approval, released Add Folder Icons v2.00 in a Zip file (the version without the auto-updater included).
Corrected a link to ashmoves.com on the web design page.
Grammar and HTML fixes for the Hub documentation.
Further tweaks to the Hub documentation. Improved the Add Folder Icons page with more screenshots and information.
Finally got around to finishing off the Hub documentation in relation to some work being done for RISC OS Open Limited. It's only a few years late...!
Add Folder Icons version 2 is coming soon! Updated the site accordingly.
Updated the price comparison site exclusions in the search box on the 'more stuff' page. Made some small corrections to the Hub documentation.

Big update to the galleries and panoramas sections. Added a software page for a tool to work around JAlbum stripping ICC profiles from images.
Updated the web design gallery following completion of various web projects over summer.
More tweaks for the Facebook badge, loading it over a secure connection so that browsers don't complain about a mixture of secure and insecure resources.
Tiny tweak to home page HTML to make it valid - added an ALT attribute to the Facebook badge image - and altered the URL to keep track of changes on the Facebook side.
Released final version of "Traversal".
Updated the ReverbNation audio player on the music resources page.
Moved the Hipposoft logo on the software page into the sidebar - it looks much better there.
If a page is being fetched over HTTPS but even so much as a single image comes over HTTP, Firefox gets angry and claims that the site is not secure. The updated Home page sidebar from early January linked directly to the official logos from various third party sites, but these do not all support HTTPS fetching. Apart from the dynamically generated Facebook badge, I've taken local copies of the images to work around the problem and updated the sidebar accordingly.
Added a Hipposoft logo to the software page since hipposoft.pond.org.uk currently redirects to that location. Not entirely happy with the aesthetics but it's better than nothing for now.
Released YUI Tree v1.1.0.
Quietly updated YUI Tree to v1.0.2.
More specific information about the Ruby version required for
TrackRecord - it
was brought to my attention that Array.count
was
introduced in Ruby 1.8.6, but TrackRecord does not
rely on this and will work on 1.8.5 (possibly earlier too, but
1.8.5 is the earliest tested version).
Changed the list of links to LinkedIn etc. into a sidebar panel on the Home page.
Released SuperChain version 1.00 and fixed a tiny typo in some image ALT text on the TrackRecord page.

Released TrackRecord version 1.5.

Add Folder Icons v1.21 released, compatible with Snow Leopard.
Add Mac and Universal logos to software packages listed in the OS X “Software Showcase” in accordance with the Mac OS X Universal logo usage guidelines. The Mac OS X Universal logo license agreement was filled in and signed on the 18th and posted yesterday. The Apple instructions for usage seem to show that it is not necessary to wait after posting before using the logos; indeed it may be important that they are already in use by the time Apple receives the signed copy of the licence agreement in order to verify that the usage is compliant upon receipt.
Tweaks to some pages in the software section including a new OS X “Software Showcase”. Introduced some new supporting styles for captioned images used by the ABC VideoRoll page and a print-specific stylesheet.
