Ampcast genre: Electronic > Ambient Late night track, soft beat, light melody. The rather unoriginal name is derived from the tempo... Supernova for most stuff, NanoPiano for strings, Classic Keys for sine lead. With thanks to posters on the Supernova mailing list for some of the patches used.
Ampcast genre: Electronic > Dance Odd disco / dance tune with 4/4 and 7/4 sections. Started life as something dumped into the ESQ-1's sequencer a few months back and finally got turned into a full tune. The intro is designed to mix in from One Three Five. Supernova for the intro and all melody instruments up until the last main section, except for the backing strings in the first 7/4 section (they're from the NanoPiano); Triton for the drums; Quasimidi Polymorph for choir/ambient pad, support arp and backing melody in the last section, along with the quiet epilogue choral pad.
Ampcast genre: Electronic > Ambient Take one rainy and windy day, a microphone resting on the window, lots of reverb and weird EQ, and then play a few things on a Triton Rack - and this is (eventually) what you get. Produced entirely in Logic Delta, Win 2K. Some backing support on the first pad from a SuperNova II Rack's vocoder. Complete instrument list: Triton Rack for most of it; SNIIR for vocoder; Alesis MidiVerb for external reverb effects; keyboard stand and 19" rack for extra noise spikes; one microphone; one glass candle holder with rattling glass panes; one storm.
Ampcast genre: Electronic > Ambient Really an example of sounds from a Tom 1501 synth, this track is written in anticipation of a rather gruelling "holiday" walking the Long Trail in Vermont. Most days cover about 20 miles, over mountainous territory...
Ampcast genre: Electronic > Ambient Upbeat ambient. Novation SuperNova for most things; NanoPiano on backup melody through MidiVerb 4; Classic Keys module for most percussion with Triton Rack for extra bits and intro effects; MelIDI (RISC OS) for main sequencing, Logic Delta (Win 2K) for final recording and effects processing on percussion.
Ampcast genre: Electronic > Ambient One of a series of seven songs, Part IV started life as a 12 channel Desktop Tracker module many years ago. I decided to bring it up to date with hardware synths, though the job was in practice much harder than I expected. The final version is quite a bit different from the original.
Ampcast genre: Electronic > Ambient Akureyri is a town on the Northern edge of Iceland. I once spent a couple of days there on a walking holiday. Synths: Triton Rack through a Smallstone phaser and MidiVerb 4; support from a Quasimidi Polymorph and Ensoniq ESQ-1; Alesis NanoPiano provides sound effects. Recorded in Logic Delta, Win 2K.

Ampcast genre: Electronic > Dance Short dance track. Supernova II Rack OS 2.0 used for all sounds except cymbal crash and hihat, which come from a Triton Rack.
Ampcast genre: Rock/Metal > Easy Listening Daft 3/4 track with cheesy end section. Lots of Supernova stuff going on, Triton Rack with backing drums, Ensoniq ESQ-1 for main melody at start, Classic Keys module for supporting melodies later. Delay and chorus effects done within Logic Delta.
Ampcast genre: Electronic > Ambient Inspired by scenes of twisted blocks of ice on wind-swept snow fields in Siberia. Alesis NanoPiano for strings, Quasimidi Polymorph for leads and support, Ensoniq ESQ-1 for sound effects.
Ampcast genre: Electronic
Album title track with four major sections - quiet synth intro, upbeat
midsection, gentle strings melody into finale and One Three Five
reprise. Supernova II for most things, NanoPiano for main strings
melody, E-Mu Classic Keys for supporting instruments and percussion,
Polymorph for emphasis here and there, Triton Rack for light pad in
intro and finale; and last but not least, ESQ-1 for some sound effects.
